Comments will be taken into account as the documents are updated by the Water Executive before review and signoff by the Steering Group and the Mayoral Forum.

Economic Study (review and feedback closed on 14 May 2010)
Harris Consulting have prepared the first stage of a model for economic assessment of irrigation projects. Contained in a detailed report its purpose is to develop an instrument for assessing the economic impact of the various irrigation options. It takes account of environmental costs and requirements and these are outlined in the document.

Targets Study (review and feedback closed on 14 May 2010)
These are proposed targets to guide the Zone and Regional Water Management Committees, under the nine headings contained in the strategy document. These targets have been developed by a wide range of environmental, farming, recreational and other stakeholders and have been signed off by those groups to go forward for public discussion and review by the CWMS Steering Group.
